“Melo” drops 62 on lowly Housecats (nee Bobcats)

So just to touch on that abomination of a basketball game the other night. I’m kind of embarrassed to be a fan of this team right now.  I know we’re in contention for the final playoff spot, but we all know that doesn’t really mean anything.  Having a single player drop 62 on you in an NBA game is fucking embarrassing.  The real-world equivalent of having your pants pulled down in front of hundreds of thousands of people after doing the polar plunge.  Like I don’t know what I would rather have happen.. let “Melo” score 60 fuckin points on me or have the whole world see my tiny frozen dick.  (Let the record show: for financial reasons, I would choose to be humiliated on the court)  This whole name change thing isn’t just about selling tickets anymore… this city should be ashamed of the trash we throw on the court some nights.  We need to seriously distance ourselves from these lost years in Charlotte basketball history.  I can’t wait to put this behind us.  On a similar note, I’m just as excited as anyone for next season, if only for the name change.
